A Guide for BotCon 2000 Attendees

BotCon 2000 was 2950 days ago. BotCon 2001 was days ago. Were you there? (Page last updated 21-mar-2001)

Attention attendees of BotCon 2000! The two nearest hotels to the Grand Wayne Center, the Hilton (attached to the convention center) and the Holiday Inn Downtown (3 blocks east) are already (27-may-2000) full, and seem to be the only hotels in the city proper. Most of the others are four miles north, around the I-69/state-27 interchange (exit 111), near the Glenbrook Mall. Continue to watch this page as I add maps, further listings, further datafields, search functions and other city information. Non-hotel information is below the table.

Roads to choose...

In central Fort Wayne, Clinton St (north-south) is the prime meridian. Starting from the convention center, the east-west roads are Jefferson Blvd, Washington Blvd, Wayne St, Berry St, and Main St. Two blocks east of Clinton is US-27 (aka Lima Rd), which runs north and is crossed by US-24, state-14 (aka Coliseum Blvd -- in that region anyway), and interstate-69. At that cloverleaf (exit 111), US-27 transforms to state-3, which is crossed by Washington Center Rd.
