Transformers Breastmaster(jp)->Beastmaster(us) fanfic tech specs (6) By Kendrick Kerwin Chua Posted to alt.toys.transformers, 17-aug-1995 Oh, you guys are gonna hate me for this... For those of you not in the know with the Japanese series; In Transformers Victory, there is a gestalt team of six Decepticon heavies called the Breast Force. Their leader, Leozack, is a big, blue, whiny number two to the Destron emporer, Deathsaurus. The six guys merge into a big gestalt called LioCeaser, and they all have chest armor that transforms into an animal sidekick and a hand weapon. For some reason, the idea of a seeker-jet gestalt and incorporating the Victory toys into the G2 line came together for me, and so the Beastmaster Decepticons were born. As if it would ever happen. Just be thankful I didn't go as far as to rename Deathsaurus into Ultra Megatron, or Star Saber into Sabre Prime, even if the faceplates are almost the same. :) Oh, and note how I carefully made sure that the character profiles above could fit into any continuity, comic or cartoon or pre-movie or post-movie or whatever. And how I didn't specify who their enemies were or what Decepticon goals happened to be at the time. :) -- Beastmaster Decepticons Raised from the ashes and rubble of the great wars, the six original warriors of the Decepticon ranks rise again in new vehicular forms and with attack-animal partners, ready to fight their enemies to the bitter end... Starscream (aka Leozak) Function: Air Commander "Conquest is made from the ashes of one's enemies." Seeks to overthrow all other Decepticon leaders. Ruthless and cruel, vainly considers himself the most intelligent and sophisticated of the Beastmasters. Relies on speed and wits to defeat his enemies. Plane mode can acheive near-orbital altitudes at a speed of Mach 4, dropping deadly cluster bombs with pinpoint accuracy. His Beastmaster partner Prideful, a boastful egotist almost as bad as Starscream, transforms into null ray cannon. Often overestimates his own abilities against a superior force. Skywarp (aka Hellbat) Function: Warrior "Strike when the enemy isn't looking." A sneaky, two-faced practical joker. Enjoys playing cruel pranks on fellow Decepticons, but doesn't appreciate being the target of them. Plane mode flies at 1750 MPH in rough weather, can instantly teleport himself and his passengers 5 miles in any direction. Vamp, his maniacally violent Beastmaster partner, transforms into a missile launcher. Has short attention span, often needs direct supervision to stay on task. Thundercracker (aka Gaihawk) Function: Warrior "The deadliest weapon is terror." Contemptuous of anything that cannot fly. More convinced of the Decepticon cause after being rebuilt, but secretly feels sympathy for his victims and doubts about the merits of mass destruction. Can fly at speeds of Mach 3 in plane mode, generates carefully controlled sonic booms that shatter windows up to 150 miles away. His depressed and distracted Beastmaster sidekick, Talon, transforms into a high-impact incendiary gun. His sympathies sometimes clash with his mission. Thrust (aka Jargua) Function: Warrior "My engine's roar is my enemies' song of doom!" Pompous, loud-mouthed braggart who believes the battle is half-won if you can 'psyche out' your enemy. Rolls into battle with no regard for surprise or stealth. Drives at near-sonic speeds, engine rumblings generate vibrations that can crack fault lines or topple skyscrapers. His Beastmaster partner Jagwire, a dull and dim-witted repair tech, transforms into a ground-to-air missile launcher. Not too brave, spends as much time running from danger as bragging about it. Ramjet (aka Drillhorn) Function: Warrior "If it moves, knock it down!" Despises not having aerial vehicle mode anymore, but makes up for it by demolishing everything on the ground. Gouges out holes in buildings and his enemies just for fun. Neutro-carbon drill and graviton treads allow drilling through almost any substance and in almost any direction, jet-powered propusion allows him to hover briefly in midair. Onetrack, his boot-licking Beastmaster partner, transforms into a multiple-warhead missile launcher. Extended drilling can damage his internal mechanisms. Dirge (aka Killbison) Function: Warrior "Fear is the element that unites all losers." A master of handling suspense and fright in his enemies. The rumbling of his treads produces irrational fear, puts off other Decepticons with his mournful, silent manner. Artillery platform mode also has articulated crane arms for gripping enemies or delicate retrieval work. His angry, loudmouthed Beasmaster partner Bullhorn transforms into a concussion blaster. Needs to be in control of the situation or he too will succumb to fear, negating his advantage. Magistron (aka LioCeaser) Function: Warrior "I shall triumph over my enemies, united and resolute." Truly believes in the merits of teamwork and cooperation to further the aims of Decepticon goals. The six Beastmasters hate merging to form him because his thinking is so counter to their devious, conniving ways. Mulitple sensor array allows sight and targeting in all directions. Has many of the abilities of his component parts, carries particle beam cannon. Sometimes pauses to ponder Decepticon in-fighting, leaving him vulnerable to attack.
